Introduction

Many people have bad habits. People often put the RV battery of the electric vehicle on the car when they are not at home, the air switch is not turned off, and they do not ride for a few months. When I came back for a ride a few months later, I found that the car was dead and couldn't charge. The charger is plugged in, but the green light is always on, even if it is plugged in for 24 hours, the green light is still green, because the battery voltage is too low, and if the difference between the output voltage of the charger and the charger is too large, the charger cannot charge electricity into the battery.

In this situation is what people usually say that the battery is "starved to death". The voltage of this kind of battery block battery is generally only about 5.6V, which will not exceed 6V. For such batteries, most of them are battery replacements. But it's a pity to replace a set of batteries by hundreds, especially if the battery has just been out of warranty.

Here are five better ways to save most of these "starved" batteries. Note that most are not 100%.

5 Ways to Activate Your Lithium Battery

1. Concatenation Method.

Connect another normal voltage 12-volt battery in series with the entire battery pack. For example, if the original car is a 48V-20AH battery, then we will connect another 12V-20AH battery in series. A 12V battery with sufficient power has a voltage of about 13V. After connecting in series, the voltage of the entire battery can be increased, and then it can be charged with its original charger. In this case, the battery can be charged. After plugging in the charger, the charger It is a red light, you can charge the battery at this time. When the charger turns green, remove the other battery connected in series. Then you can charge it normally.

2. The Parallel Method.

This method is a little more cumbersome. For example, the vehicle was originally a 48V-20AH battery, and we have another set of 48V-20AH batteries in parallel. We all know that the voltage everywhere in a parallel circuit is equal, and the high-voltage terminal will flow into the low-voltage terminal. This method is also used by many battery dealers to detect batteries that are completely dead. Then charging can also achieve the purpose of charging. This principle is similar to that of connecting a battery in series. It also increases the voltage of the entire group.

3. Low-voltage Charging Method.

Use a smaller charger for charging. For example, it is a set of 60V-20AH batteries, then we use a 48V-20AH charger for charging. In most cases, it can also be charged. The principle is also similar to the first one, bringing the charging voltage closer to the voltage across the battery.

4, The Single Battery Charging Method.

Charging a single battery with a 12-volt motorcycle charger can activate the battery, but this charging is relatively slow. Generally, it takes more than 7 hours for the battery voltage to slowly rise to about 12V. It takes time to charge all single blocks.

5, Special Charger Method.

Tianneng charger automatically recognizes the battery voltage, no matter how many volts a group of batteries has, it can automatically recognize the voltage, and he can charge it. For example, the original car has a 60V-20AH battery, but now it is less than 30V, and it can still be charged inside. As the voltage increases, it fully adapts to a higher-order voltage, and then charges the battery. Tailing, Lvjia electric car and Jinpeng tricycle have been equipped with chargers of this brand.
